opencopy.org is an online publication for engaged written works. Its goal is to help enrich the public discourse with a love of humanity as expressed in thought, awareness and sensibility that survive in spite the doldrums of the mainstream media. What is sought here is clarity in resolving the paradoxes of today’s overcomplicated world and defending the human condition in its honest and beautiful simplicity.

Whether and how you use this site is up to you. It is a project in its early stages but there is already enough here to hopefully make one pause, think and feel. And, if, in your search for answers, all you find here are more questions, the efforts of everyone involved would be well rewarded. Ultimately, we may already have all the answers that we seek. Often, however, it is the questions that we pose and the manner in which we ask them that makes all the difference.
